NEW NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER READY TO EDUCATE WORKFORCE, CONSUMERS ON ELECTRICAL SAFETY ISSUES

 

LEWISVILLE, Texas—As an industry leader at the forefront of educating workers and consumers alike on the importance of electrical safety, National Field Services (NFS) is a major contributor to the programs and services offered through the new National Training Center (NTC), which is ready to open soon.

The NTC will conduct training at clients’ locations and at its new state-of-art training center, which is located in National Field Services’ new 23,000-square-foot facility in Lewisville, Texas, and equipped with the latest audio/video equipment and teleconferencing technologies. “At National Field Services, we have always felt that it was part of our responsibility to our clients to help keep them up to date and informed of changes in the industry with regard to improving equipment reliability and personnel safety. Through our new training center, we will be able to share with our customers and partners the knowledge we learned from operating in this industry,” said Douglas Powell, President of National Switchgear.

The NTC will offer both on-site training programs and open-enrollment classes. Each course and class is designed to fulfill the NTC’s vision:
