National Training Center Opens!

Our new National Training Center (NTC) in Lewisville, Texas is open. The 23,000-square-foot facility is equipped with the latest audio/video equipment and teleconferencing technologies to help experts in electrical safety offer instruction and hands-on training.

Our new NTC will provide instruction and training in a variety of critical areas:

  • Basic Safety Plus Training
  • NFPA 70E / Arc Flash Safety Training
  • Substation Maintenance and Testing
  • Thermal Imaging Training
  • Protective Relay Testing
  • NERC Compliance Programs

In our open-enrollment classes, we partner with subject matter experts to provide the latest in training and education to our customers, our employees and anyone interested in electrical safety. Classes are open to the general public for a fee and cover a standardized outline. Many of the courses include reference books.

First Class a Success

On August 13-16, we hosted our first training class — Level 1 Thermography — with FLIR IR Training.

Instructor John Waggoner commented, “It was a great experience. This facility and all its technology really allow for great presentations and hand-on teaching opportunities.”

“The training was very informative and the state-of-the-art facilities made the experience that much more enjoyable”, said Electrical Technician Eric Hernandez.
