Title: National Field Services, in Association with NICET, Looking for Qualified Technicians and Engineers to Assist in Developing New Certification Program for Electrical Testing

Invitation to Electrical Testing Professionals

You are invited to consider helping create a program to spotlight qualified electrical test technicians.

A new certification program for electrical testing technicians is being developed by NICET (the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies), with the help of many electrical testing professionals and NETA (the InterNational Electrical Testing Association). This program will provide recognition to knowledgeable and experienced technicians, helping them to stand out from the less-qualified crowd. More information about this program is available by clicking on the link below:

NICET is looking for qualified technicians and engineers to join the development team. If you are an electrical testing technician with ten years or more of experience, or an engineer with field experience, we ask you to think about joining other top professionals in this important project.

The next activity is a test development workshop on January 24, 25, and 26, 2011. The workshop will be hosted by Testronics, Inc. in Houston, Texas. 15 to 20 electrical testing pros will be coming together to write test questions for the Level II certification exam. The participants will be provided with training in question-writing, the outline of the exam, and plenty of opportunity to discuss exam content with the other question-writers.
